--June 16, 2010 Idea Planet helps Microsoft launch Halo REACH In A Big Way at E3 2010 Microsoft launched their newest installment of the company's most popular video game title, Halo, at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles this week by unveiling a massive Halo REACH Noble Team Sculpture created by Idea Planet. The 14' wide by 10' tall, 850 lb. sculpture depicts all 5 members of the Noble Team: Jorge, Kat, Carter, Emile and Jun. Idea Planet's team of sculptures spent 8 weeks carving the characters out of solid 8lbs urethane foam. Once complete, the artists hand painted the sculpture using a combination of air brushing and hand brush techniques. All of the characters were created to scale as they appear in the game. The sculpture is a full size adaptation of the miniature version offered in the Legendary Edition of the Halo REACH game release.
